BASIS POINTS: SWIFT Reaches Out to Smaller Companies

The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) has released Alliance Lite, an Internet-based service aimed at companies that send and receive up to 200 messages each day. It allows companies to work with SWIFT in a low-cost, easy-access way for tasks like cash reporting and foreign exchange transactions.
